Startup Business Development Intern
Role Description:
As a Biz Dev Intern, you’ll work on identifying and qualifying early-stage startups that would benefit from Inciteful’s platform. This is a great fit for someone interested in entrepreneurship, marketing, or sales—and who wants to understand how early-stage startups grow.
Responsibilities:
- Research early-stage startups (1–10 employees) on platforms like AngelList, Crunchbase, and LinkedIn
- Collect founder info, company details, and contact emails
- Maintain a prospective list database in Apollo - a sales customer relationship management (CRM) tool
- Assist with drafting cold outreach messages
- Help track responses and build a pipeline of potential pilot customers
Application Requirements:
No business experience needed—just a strong attention to detail, willingness to research, and interest in how startups operate.
Familiarity with:
- Google Sheets / Notion
- LinkedIn (basic searches)
- Interest in startups or entrepreneurship (a plus!)
