The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated student (high school or college) to join us as a Grant Writing Intern. This is a great opportunity if you love writing, want to build professional skills, and are curious about how nonprofits fund their work. You’ll learn how to research grants, draft proposals, and help bring resources to support Theytriarchy’s projects.
What You’ll Do
- Research grant opportunities that match Theytriarchy’s mission.
- Draft sections of grant proposals (with mentorship and feedback).
- Help organize application materials and deadlines.
- Collaborate with our team to highlight the impact of FarmSchool and other projects.
- Learn the basics of fundraising and nonprofit development.
What We’re Looking For
- High school or college student who enjoys writing and research.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize information clearly.
- Interest in sustainability, education, or community-based projects.
- No prior grant writing experience required—just curiosity and willingness to learn.
What You’ll Gain

- Your name, school, and grade/year.
- A few sentences about why you’d like to learn grant writing.
- (Optional) A writing sample (class assignment, essay, or creative piece).
Location: Remote
Compensation: Unpaid
Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per week (flexible). We’ll work with you to set a schedule that fits your availability.
