Responsibilities:
Design testing interns will help us prototype, review, and refine several “eco-challenges”, which are self-paced learning experiences we design and disseminate through the Upper New website. We already have several on our website, and are in the process of designing several more. We need real people to help us “test drive” these eco-challenges to make sure they’re working the way we want them to.
Application Requirements:
- Send in a communication sample that answers the following prompt, associated with The Upper New mission. Using your own words please tell us: What is bioregionalism, where is your home bioregion, how would you define its boundaries, and what are the first five things you are going to do throughout the next two years to better understand your bioregion?
- The use of generative AI tools is not permitted in the process of forming your answer. General internet searching use of reference materials are permitted and encouraged. Your response may take the form of a written essay (minimum 1000 words), or an equivalent length audio/video recording. Instead of focusing on meeting the minimum word count, focus on addressing the prompt with a level of detail and concise comprehension that will impress us."
