We are seeking a Social Media Intern to collaborate closely with our founder and the our nonprofit partners at the Lift And Shift Foundation. This role primarily involves creating compelling content and public-facing outreach materials. The intern has an option to work across various media channels, including social media platforms, website content, or email communications.

Responsibilities:

Generate engaging content that translates scientific research and initiatives into accessible and compelling materials for public outreach.
Read research and transform it into digestible and engaging content for various media channels.
Learn and effectively use tools like Canva and ChatGPT to create appealing content for different platforms.
Develop and curate content for social media, website copy, blog posts (Medium), email communications, and Slack channels, aligning with the organization's goals and messaging.
Assist in strategizing and executing social marketing campaigns related to various initiatives within the organization.

Requirements:

High school student enrolled in a national high school program.

Creativity and a proactive attitude towards content development and outreach.
