A Data Project Administrative Intern is an entry level role involving entering data from various sources into the company computer system for processing and management. A candidate working in data entry will need to efficiently manage a large amount of information that may or may not be sensitive or confidential. Success traits include detail oriented, asks questions and clarifies tasks and responsibilities in a timely manner.

Example of duties

Preparing and sorting documents for data entry
Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted
Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete information using internet search methods
Creating data backups as part of a contingency plan
Using Microsoft Excel /CRM database system to enter data

Basic Qualifications

Computer literacy and familiarity with various computer programs such as MS Office (Excel, Word) or other CRM systems such as Hubspot, Sendr, or MailerLite
Attention to detail
Knowledge of grammar and punctuation with accuracy
Ability to work to time constraints
