Role Description:
As a Marketing and Event Intern at Women in AI, you will play a crucial role in supporting our initiatives to grow our community and execute impactful events. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the planning and execution of community events, including webinars, workshops, and in-person gatherings.
- Supporting event marketing through social media, newsletters, and partnerships.
- Researching and engaging with sponsors, partners, and influencers to enhance event outreach.
- Creating engaging content for our digital platforms to promote events and initiatives.
- Coordinating logistics, managing event calendars, and ensuring smooth event execution.
Application Requirements:
- Experience in social media or social media marketing.
- Optional: Include any relevant work samples or a portfolio showcasing event planning or marketing experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Familiarity with Canva, social media platforms: linkedin, Instagram, twitter, youtube.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for diversity and innovation in AI.
