Role Description
Amalu Coaching is seeking a highly motivated Social Media Intern to help grow our brand presence and engagement across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. This role will work closely with the CEO and our Communications intern, focusing specifically on strategic content creation, audience growth, and storytelling.
- Drive Growth & Engagement – Implement strategies to significantly increase follower counts and engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, saves, video views). Proven experience in growing social media accounts, ideally by 5–10x, is a must.
- Content Strategy & Storytelling – Create original, compelling content that communicates Amalu’s mission, services, and community impact while staying true to our brand voice and tone.
- Campaigns & Trends – Plan and execute content tied to trending topics, national campaigns, and community events to maximize reach and audience interaction.
- Multimedia Production – Develop graphics (via Canva), short-form videos, and other digital assets that resonate with our audience and drive engagement.
- Metrics & Reporting – Track performance, analyze insights, and optimize content strategies to ensure measurable growth.
Application Requirements
- Hands-on experience growing and engaging audiences on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and/or YouTube
- Strong storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to create compelling captions, scripts, and campaigns
- Experience with multimedia content creation: video editing, photography, graphic design, or similar
- Highly organized, self-directed, and able to execute campaigns from concept to analysis to execution
- Passion for creativity, community impact, and strategic communications
