Role Overview
We’re looking for a creative and motivated high school intern to join our team as a Social Media Intern. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help us create, schedule, and engage with content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. You’ll get real experience in digital marketing, branding, and startup growth, while having fun brainstorming fresh, relatable ideas for parents.
What You’ll Do (3–5 hours per week)
You’ll assist our content team by helping us stay consistent and community-minded across key platforms. This role is light on hours but rich in learning and impact.
Your weekly support may include:
- Scheduling and publishing posts on Instagram, Threads, and Facebook using our content calendar
- Engaging with our community by liking and responding to comments and DMs (within brand voice)
- Repurposing old content into new formats (e.g., carousels, reels, pins) using templates
- Researching parenting trends or social engagement ideas
- Organizing user feedback, content stats, or story replies into internal docs
- Supporting content batching for future campaigns or launches
What We’re Looking For
- A heart for modern parents, especially moms navigating the mental load
- A thoughtful communicator who writes with warmth, clarity, and emotional intelligence
- Comfort with Instagram, Threads, and Pinterest (or eagerness to learn)
- A self-starter who values simplicity, keeps things organized, and meets deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and brand tone
Qualifications
- High school student with an interest in social media, communications, or marketing
- Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms (bonus if you’ve created content yourself)
- Strong writing skills with a sense of humor and creativity
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
- Comfortable working independently but open to feedback
- Passion for family, parenting, or child development topics is a plus
