Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager to drive user growth, secure strategic partnerships, and expand our subscriber base. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies targeting parents, schools, NGOs, corporate partners, and diaspora communities. Your role is critical to achieving our 12-month growth targets and establishing Muna TV as the leading platform for African children and families.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and business development plan aligned with Muna TV’s growth goals.
- Identify and prioritize target segments: parents, schools, educational NGOs, telecom partners, and diaspora organizations.
- Create tailored outreach and engagement strategies for each audience.
2. Partnership Development
- Secure partnerships with schools and educational institutions for pilot programs and subscription bundles.
- Engage with NGOs, community organizations, and parental groups to promote Muna TV as an educational and cultural resource.
- Establish B2B partnerships with animation studios, brands, and media companies for content licensing and co-production opportunities.
3. Sales Execution
- Drive direct subscription sales through targeted campaigns, webinars, and community events.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline, from lead generation to conversion.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales collateral, case studies, and testimonials.
4. Market Expansion
- Support geographic expansion into key markets (Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, and diaspora communities in North America and Europe).
- Explore and develop relationships with telecom partners for data-bundle integrations.
- Represent Muna TV at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
5. Reporting & Optimization
- Track and report on sales performance, partnership outcomes, and market feedback.
- Use data insights to refine strategies and improve conversion rates.
- Work closely with the product and content teams to align offerings with customer needs.

Application Requirements:
Familiarity with CRM such as Airtable, Zoho CRM or Salesforce will be an advantage.
