Role Description
- Empact is seeking an intern to help us grow our presence on Instagram and TikTok.
- This role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, short-form video, graphic design, and building community through authentic, mission-aligned content. You'll work directly with our founder to translate our brand voice into content that resonates.
- Objective: The intern will develop and execute social media strategies, create content, manage social media accounts, and analyze engagement metrics to optimize our online impact and engage our audience.
Responsibilities:
- Create short-form video, canva designs, and carousel content across various social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Post regularly with a mix of educational, inspirational, and campaign-aligned material
- Repurpose blog/newsletter content into social assets
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages to foster a sense of community and engagement
- Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to ensure our strategies remain effective and relevant
Application Requirements
- Familiarity with social media platforms and tools (Tiktok, Canva, Instagram, etc.)
- Passionate about social justice, media, and storytelling
- Good design taste
