We’re looking for high-performing students to join us as Marketing & Business Development Interns (Student Ambassadors).

This is a unique opportunity to gain experience across all aspects of Marketing at a fast-growing company. Interns will support the development of our social media strategy; the execution of field marketing events; and the infrastructure to communicate with our vast alumni network.

You’ll play a key role in driving brand awareness, increasing referrals, and engaging local community.

What You’ll Do

In-Person (30%)

Attend local private dinners hosted by Empowerly, representing the company to prospective students and families
Support with event logistics including set up and checking in families
Share your personal Empowerly story in an authentic, compelling way at local events
Periodically travel to in-person meetings to create content with our social media team

Remote (70%)

Develop unique and effective outreach campaigns with the Events team to share your Empowerly story with your personal networks
Create engaging social media content (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) that reflects your experience with the Social Media Content team
Pitch & execute ideas for webinars, events, and social media campaigns by and for Empowerly students
Advise the Events and Lifecycle Marketing Teams around local context, event creation & lead engagement in your area
Help manage lead capture processes and data entry into CRM systems
Share feedback and insights on what students and families care about to all company stakeholders

Who Should Apply

Required

Currently residing in (or willing to travel to) the Philly
Experience in community building & organizing events around specific causes, communities, or goals
Experience creating social media content that keeps on top of current trends on Instagram and Tik Tok
Comfortable sharing your Empowerly experience in personal and professional networks and settings

Preferred

Experience with HubSpot, Airtable, or Wordpress
Video editing experience
Local geographical knowledge on Philly
