Role Title

Amalu Coaching is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to help support and grow our brand presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and (occasionally) Facebook. This is a hands-on learning opportunity for high school students interested in storytelling, content creation, branding, and social media.

You will work closely with the CEO and Intern team to help share content that reflects Amalu’s mission around wellness, leadership, and community impact.

Support growth and engagement on LinkedIn and Instagram by helping with posting and audience engagement including reaching and engaging people who are not yet familiar with Amalu
Assist in creating and scheduling content that reflects Amalu’s voice and mission
Help write captions, short posts, and engaging storytelling content
Support LinkedIn engagement including basic messaging and identifying relevant audiences, connections, or communities to engage with
Create simple graphics, visuals, and short-form videos using Canva or mobile editing tools
Help brainstorm content ideas tied to trends, wellness topics, and community conversations
May assist with newsletters or email content as needed

Application Requirements

Interest/prior experience in social media (especially LinkedIn and Instagram)
Strong storytelling, content creation, and writing skills
Some experience posting content or helping manage a social media account (school club, personal page, or project is fine)
Creative, organized, and willing to learn
Comfortable learning tools like Canva or basic content editing apps
Interest in branding, communication, or digital media

Bonus

Experience growing a social media page (personal, school, or club)
Interest in wellness, mental health, culture, or community impact
Familiarity with LinkedIn messaging or professional communication
Basic video editing or content creation experience
