Role Description
- Empact is seeking a Grant Writing Intern for an 8-week internship focused on discovering and securing grant opportunities that align with our mission of driving social impact through storytelling. This role is ideal for high school students with strong writing skills and an interest in developing their abilities in AI and prompt engineering to enhance research and content writing.
- Objective: The intern will identify relevant grant opportunities, prepare grant applications, and learn to use AI tools to streamline the grant writing process.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify grants opportunities that match Empact’s goals and activities.
- Work closely with the CEO to understand project needs and align grant proposals, including narratives and budgets, tailored to the requirements of each grantor.
- Learn and apply AI technologies, including prompt engineering, to optimize the grant research and writing process.
Application Requirements
- Must have excellent writing abilities, with a knack for persuasive and clear communication.
- Comfortable learning new technologies, especially AI tools that assist in research and content creation.
- Interested in learning about funding strategies.
