Role Description
Empact is seeking a creative and motivated Writing Intern to help us turn our internal guides, case studies, and insights into search-friendly, emotionally resonant web content. This role combines SEO (search engine optimization) with content creation, where you’ll help craft compelling narratives to engage audiences, media outlets, and partners.
Objective: Increase our organic visibility while building a library of thought leadership that educates and activates filmmakers, nonprofits, and socially conscious audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Keep an eye on what’s happening in the news and find ways to connect Empact’s work with current events.
- Turn raw notes and ideas into structured, fun and engaging blog posts
- Identify search keywords and optimize posts for discoverability
- Collaborate with team on newsletter and blog planning
- Track performance via Google Analytics
