Role Description
Afros & Audio is seeking an intern to assist with editing video content for our marketing campaigns, particularly focused on YouTube Shorts and social media platforms. The intern will help produce polished, engaging videos that highlight interviews and conference sessions to share with our growing community. Responsibilities include:
- Editing video content (interviews, conference sessions) for social media promotion (YouTube Shorts, Instagram, etc.)
- Enhancing video footage for visual appeal and consistency with brand style
- Adding subtitles, captions, and visual effects when necessary
- Collaborating with the content team to ensure videos align with our overall marketing strategy
Application Requirements
- Portfolio showcasing video editing work
- Proficiency with Descript, Clipchamp, or similar video editing software
- Strong communication skills in English
- Attention to detail and creativity
Familiarity with Particular Software Programs
- Descript or similar video editing software
- Clipchamp or similar video editing software
- Capcut or similar social media editing software
Required Materials Before Interviewing (i.e. assessments, portfolios, etc.)
- Resume
- Video editing portfolio preferred but not mandatory
