Role Description
Afros & Audio is seeking a podcast editing intern to help create high-quality audio content for our podcast series. This intern will assist in editing interviews, panel discussions, and other audio content to ensure clarity, smooth transitions, and engaging listening experiences for our audience.
Responsibilities include:
- Editing podcast audio to enhance sound quality, including removing background noise and improving clarity
- Cutting and rearranging audio to ensure smooth flow
- Adding intro/outro music and sound effects as needed
- Ensuring all audio content meets professional quality standards for publishing
- Working closely with the content team to align podcast audio with marketing and social media strategies
Application Requirements
- Portfolio showcasing podcast editing work
- Proficiency with Ferrite or similar audio editing software
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Familiarity with Particular Software Programs
- Descript or similar audio/video editing software
Required Materials Before Interviewing (i.e. assessments, portfolios, etc.)
- Resume
- Podcast editing portfolio preferred but not mandatory
