About the Internship
Empowerly’s Internship Program is designed to give students meaningful, hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. As a Product Development Intern, you will support our product team and full-stack engineer in bringing innovative features to life while gaining exposure to the end-to-end product lifecycle.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented problem-solver who enjoys testing, researching, and contributing to product improvements. Interns will gain valuable technical and collaborative experience, all while building a portfolio of work that demonstrates real-world impact.
Responsibilities
- Conduct QA testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance concerns.
- Assist with product planning by gathering requirements and documenting feature requests.
- Perform research on tools, competitors, and best practices to support product decision-making.
- Provide support to the full-stack engineer on product-related tasks.
- Contribute feedback and ideas during team discussions to improve the user experience.

Skill Requirements
- Working knowledge of JavaScript.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
- Problem-solving skills with a logical, structured approach.
- Proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with Figma (not required, but a major plus).
- Clear and timely communication skills.
