Role Overview
We’re looking for a Community Building Intern to help us grow LaunchFamily’s presence in parenting groups, online communities, and local networks. This role is perfect for a student who’s outgoing, curious, and excited to connect with people. You’ll help us build trust, spark conversations, and introduce parents to how LaunchFamily can support them.
Responsibilities
- Research parenting communities online (Facebook groups, subreddits, local forums, etc.) and identify opportunities for engagement
- Help craft outreach messages and conversation starters that are authentic, supportive, and aligned with our mission
- Engage with community moderators and leaders to introduce LaunchFamily in respectful ways
- Support outreach to local organizations, schools, and family networks
- Track responses and help the team build relationships with parents and community leaders
- Assist with brainstorming creative ways to get parents involved in our Beta and podcast community
- Share weekly updates on new opportunities, feedback, and conversations happening in parenting spaces
Qualifications
- High school student with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Friendly, approachable, and comfortable starting conversations with new people online
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to track outreach efforts
- Familiar with online communities (Facebook groups, Discord, Reddit, forums, etc.)
- Passion for family, parenting, education, or community support is a plus
