Business Development and Fundraising Intern
Role Description
- Manage relationships with teachers, schools, and educational organizations to promote our games and build a community around our educational initiatives.
- Assist in researching and identifying potential grants and funding opportunities to support the development of educational games.
- Help write grant proposals and support the team in the fundraising process.
- Research and establish partnerships with other educational organizations, game developers, and potential sponsors to expand the reach of Alterea’s projects.
- Assist with outreach efforts to potential collaborators, including following up with leads and maintaining communication.
- Support the team in developing strategies for long-term growth through partnerships and funding opportunities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in business development, nonprofit fundraising, and educational
- outreach.
- Ability to conduct research and identify new opportunities.
- Experience with grant writing or proposal development is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM tools or fundraising platforms is a bonus.
Familiarity with Particular Software Programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of fundraising platforms (e.g., GoFundMe, Kickstarter) is a bonus.
