We are seeking a talented and motivated high school student with strong coding skills to join us as a Full Stack Development Intern. This role will focus on building the Leadership Transition Labs Journal, a digital platform that helps new leaders reflect, learn, and grow.
Responsibilities
- Develop a fully functional online journal tool from front end to back end.
- Implement interactive templates, forms, and data storage.
- Ensure the tool is responsive, user-friendly, and visually consistent.
- Collaborate on design decisions, incorporating user feedback and testing.
- Document code and provide handoff notes for future scaling.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with a modern framework (React, Angular, or Vue) and familiarity with backend basics (Node.js, Firebase, or similar).
- Understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Ability to independently manage a coding project, from setup to deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and willingness to iterate quickly.
This internship is ideal for a student who wants to gain real-world product development experience, showcase a complete project in their portfolio, and contribute to a meaningful leadership and learning tool.
