- Achievable is a small education technology (EdTech) startup based in San Francisco, CA. Our mission is to help people conquer the most important exams of their lives, including the AMC and ACT exam for getting into college, the GRE exam for getting into graduate school, or the FINRA and USMLE exams for getting licensed as financial and medical professionals.
- In the Marketing writer - Blog role, we are looking for a good writer that is interested in developing their writing, especially learning business and marketing writing. Writing for a business’s blog is very different from writing for essays in school, and in this internship, we would teach you how to write effectively for our company blog. We will also teach you how to find and create great images to support your post, how your wording can impact the post’s Google Ranking (called Search Engine Optimization or SEO for short), and how to keep your audience engaged. These skills will serve you well in marketing and many other careers. This content will stay on the blog, so you can reference it on future resumes. This is also great practice for writing college applications!
- In this role, interns will be asked to write blog posts for the Achievable blog and guest posts for other blogs on topics related to education, college admissions, careers, the exams we cover, and other topics.
Intern Requirements:
- Marketing writer (blog): We are looking for a candidate who has strong writing skills and an interest in learning about online marketing. Interns that are willing to learn and that can quickly improve or adapt their writing to specific goals will do well in this position.
Application Requirements:
- Marketing writer(Blog): Along with your resume, please include some short (1-2 pages or less) samples of your writing. There is no need to write something new, you can submit anything from school or your personal life. If you have written for public consumption before, whether that is a blog post, a poster/flyer for a club event, or an article in the school newspaper, that would be great!
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week
