About the Role
We’re looking for a driven and outgoing Sales Intern to join our Growth & Partnerships team this summer. You’ll play a key role in helping us connect with small business owners, introduce them to our platform, and refine how we communicate our value proposition. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about startups, loves connecting with people, and wants to gain real-world sales experience in the fintech space.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in identifying and qualifying prospective small business customers
- Support outreach efforts via email, phone, social media, and events
- Help manage and optimize CRM data (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce)
- Participate in discovery calls and demos with potential customers
- Gather feedback from small business owners to inform sales and product strategy
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to refine messaging and materials
- Track and report performance metrics and help identify areas for improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Interest in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence talking to new people
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn
- Interest in fintech, startups, and small business growth
- Prior sales, customer service, or startup experience is a plus, but not strictly required
