Role Overview
The AI Ecosystem Researcher plays a central role in shaping the content, partnerships, and global reach of TechEquity Ai Summit 2026. The position requires a commitment of at least 25 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months, with the option to extend. This position conducts deep research across the AI ecosystem to identify:
- High-impact speakers, researchers, founders, and innovators
- Relevant venture capital firms and investors
- Corporate, nonprofit, and academic partners
- International pavilion leads (government innovation agencies, consulates, global tech hubs)
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role in a dynamic environment. While an intern position, it upholds high standards aligned with Silicon Valley’s tech and nonprofit sectors. We seek independent, resourceful problem-solvers with relevant experience who can apply their knowledge immediately and take ownership of key responsibilities. Adaptability, initiative, and independence are essential. This is not a training-based role, it's an opportunity to engage in meaningful, high-impact work within the AI and technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Research speakers, founders, researchers, and AI leaders.
- Map VC firms and identify relevant partners/scouts.
- Scout corporate, startup, and nonprofit partners aligned with our mission.
- Identify international delegations and innovation agencies for pavilion programs.
- Organize findings in structured databases and present insights to program leaders.
Qualifications
Required
- Strong research skills; comfortable synthesizing information from websites, reports, LinkedIn, startup databases, academic conferences, and VC portfolios.
- Excellent written communication and the ability to present findings clearly.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
- Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
- Genuine interest in AI, startups, VC, innovation ecosystems, or global technology development.
Preferred (not required)
- Experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Asana, Crunchbase, or Apollo.
- Coursework or background in business, technology, communications, or international relations.
