Eco-Power House is seeking a Strategic Partnerships & Funding Research Intern to help support an early-stage climate technology and AI infrastructure startup. The intern will assist with research, outreach preparation, and organizational support related to government programs, strategic partners, investors, accelerators, and funding opportunities.
This role is ideal for a student interested in startups, climate technology, artificial intelligence, clean energy, government innovation, venture capital, infrastructure, or entrepreneurship. The intern will work directly with the startup team on real-world startup development tasks and will gain exposure to how early-stage companies pursue funding, partnerships, and institutional support.
Expected tasks may include:
- Researching government agencies, innovation offices, grant programs, pilot programs, and potential public-sector partners.
- Helping identify appropriate contacts at agencies, investors, accelerators, universities, foundations, and private-sector organizations.
- Supporting outreach preparation, including contact lists, short summaries, email drafts, letter drafts, and follow-up notes.
- Researching venture capital firms, climate funds, infrastructure investors, philanthropic funders, and strategic corporate partners.
- Organizing information into clear spreadsheets, briefs, and outreach trackers.
- Helping refine simple pitch materials for Eco-Power House and related AI infrastructure concepts.
- Supporting special projects related to clean energy, resilient housing, microgrids, data centers, AI tools, and startup strategy.
The intern does not need to be an expert in energy, AI, or finance. Curiosity, reliability, clear communication, and the ability to organize information are more important than prior technical experience. This is a strong opportunity for a student who wants hands-on experience inside an early-stage startup working on ambitious climate, infrastructure, and AI-related problems.
Expected time commitment: 5–10 hours per week
