QuantZero needs an intern to support go-to-market execution, customer discovery, technical marketing, and sales enablement for an AI-driven cybersecurity and Zero Trust platform. This role is designed for an undergraduate or graduate student who can bridge technical understanding with business development, product positioning, and customer engagement.
The intern will assist with market research, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, outbound messaging, proposal support, product demonstrations, sales collateral, campaign planning, and technical content development. The role requires the ability to understand complex cybersecurity and AI concepts and translate them into clear value propositions for commercial, federal, defense, and regulated-industry audiences.
Candidates should have working knowledge of AI fundamentals, including machine learning concepts, AI/ML modeling, data-driven decision-making, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and responsible AI practices. Familiarity with Python, basic data analysis, AI experimentation, or technical prototyping is strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate should also understand risk-based cybersecurity fundamentals, including Zero Trust principles, identity and access management, vulnerability management, threat modeling, compliance frameworks, RMF concepts, CMMC readiness, security monitoring, and risk prioritization. A practical understanding of Apache servers, Linux environments, basic web architecture, APIs, logging, hosting, and secure deployment concepts is highly valuable.
This position requires a minimum of five years of marketing, sales, business development, customer engagement, or related go-to-market experience. Experience in technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, government contracting, defense innovation, or enterprise software is preferred.
Responsibilities may include supporting lead generation, refining product messaging, preparing customer-facing materials, assisting with demo scripts, developing use-case briefs, researching target markets, organizing outreach campaigns, and helping QuantZero communicate the value of AI-enabled Zero Trust and mission-aware cybersecurity.
This role is ideal for a candidate who is commercially sharp, technically curious, comfortable with ambiguity, and capable of communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. QuantZero values disciplined execution, strong writing, customer empathy, and the ability to connect AI, cybersecurity risk, and business outcomes.
