Marketing & Content Strategy Intern (Work directly with the CEO of a fast-growing fintech startup)
About Share Scoops
Share Scoops is a fast-growing financial education startup that makes the economy simple and accessible for everyone. We turn complex market news into short, digestible “Scoops” that financial advisors, banks, fintechs, and everyday consumers rely on to stay informed. We recently raised funding, our content reaches millions, and we’re gearing up for a major product launch this spring. Interns will work directly with our Founder & CEO and contribute meaningful work that actually gets shipped - not “intern projects” that disappear.
What You’ll Do
You’ll help shape the public face of a company that is scaling fast. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes social. You will:
- Help plan, design, and publish social content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit short-form videos and refine scripts, hooks, and storytelling formats that hold attention.
- Create graphics and micro-infographics in Canva that match our brand and make complex ideas simple.
- Analyze what performs well across platforms and help improve our posting strategy.
- Work directly with the CEO to experiment with new formats, influencer-style content, and viral frameworks.
- Take part in shaping the branding and creative around our upcoming product launch (a huge visibility moment for us).
- Help develop audience growth experiments that could turn into resume-ready traction metrics.
- Give input like a full team member. If your idea works, we run with it.

Must Have
- Active user of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and/or LinkedIn. You should know what performs well on these platforms and why.
- A natural eye for design, pacing, tone, and “what looks good” in digital content.
- Basic experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar editing tools.
- Curiosity about money, business, the economy, or helping people learn through content (no formal finance experience required).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to take feedback quickly.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing or growing your own social account, school club account, or brand page.
- Experience editing short-form video or designing graphics.
- Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or product launches.

Location:
This is a remote role, but if you are in the New York City area, you are welcome to join us at our office in Union Square.
