AI Prototyping & Product Engineering Intern (Spring 2026) - Build real features, ship to real users, work directly with senior engineers and the CEO
About Share Scoops
Share Scoops is a fast-growing financial education startup that turns complex market news into simple “Scoops” that help people understand the economy. We power content for financial advisors, fintechs, banks, and thousands of consumers. We recently raised funding, our tools are used by paying clients, and we’re building fast toward our next major product release.
This internship is for builders: the people who spin up side projects on weekends, experiment with new AI tools, and love the feeling of “I made something useful today.” You’ll work directly with senior engineers, our CTO, and the CEO to prototype new ideas that could become core features of our platform.
Your Role
You’ll be the engine behind rapid experimentation. When we have an idea, you’ll help turn it into a working concept in hours or days, not weeks. Your work won’t live in a sandbox. If it’s good, it gets pushed to real users for real feedback.
You will:
- Build quick prototypes of new product ideas using AI coding tools, low-code/no-code tools, or lightweight JavaScript/React projects.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to turn POCs into real features or refine them based on testing feedback.
- Work closely with the CEO to brainstorm ideas and translate them into small shippable experiments.
- Contribute to user testing cycles with early beta customers.
- Help shape new user flows and features across our publishing tools, AI content workflows, and advisor-facing products.
- Shadow and learn from engineers with deep experience in AI systems, cloud infrastructure, and modern frontend frameworks.
- If you’re good, ship functionality into production that paying clients actually use.

Must Have
- Comfort using AI tools to build, debug, or accelerate coding tasks.
- Experience building projects (apps, websites, automations, mini-tools, side projects of any kind).
- Ability to take an idea and turn it into something that works, even if it’s scrappy.
- Curiosity about how AI products, user interfaces, and content systems get built.
- A bias toward action and fast iteration.
Nice to Have
- Basic experience with JavaScript, React, or Node.
- Familiarity with no-code tools like Lovable, Webflow, Zapier, or Make.
- Interest in Firebase, cloud functions, or AWS Amplify (not required).
- Experience working in small teams or shipping personal projects.

Location:
This is a remote role, but if you are in the New York City area, you are welcome to join us at our office in Union Square.
