Role Description
As a Social Media Assistant Intern, you will support Alurella's TikTok and YouTube content creation efforts, helping us build a meaningful and creative digital presence. You’ll gain real-world experience working with a fashion startup while contributing to video content ideas, filming assistance, editing, and engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Support & Creation
- Assist in brainstorming TikTok and YouTube Shorts content ideas aligned with Alurella’s brand tone (modest, elegant, empowering).
- Help record, organize, and edit short-form video content using phone and basic editing tools (CapCut, InShot, Canva, etc.).
- Participate in “Get Ready With Me,” unboxing, behind-the-scenes, styling tips, and other trending video formats.
2. Channel Management
- Upload and schedule content on TikTok and YouTube (Shorts and occasional long-form).
- Write short captions and add relevant hashtags to increase engagement and visibility.
- Monitor engagement (likes, comments, shares) and highlight high-performing content weekly.
3. Trend Research & Insights
- Stay up-to-date with current TikTok trends, audio tracks, editing styles, and challenges that can be adapted to our niche.
- Track relevant fashion hashtags and creators for inspiration.
4. Community Engagement
- Help respond to comments and messages in a professional, fun, and on-brand tone.
- Participate in community challenges or collaborations that boost brand visibility.
Who You Are
- Passionate about fashion, social media, and storytelling
- Comfortable using TikTok, YouTube, and mobile video editing apps
- Creative, organized, and detail-oriented
- Excellent written communication skills
- Able to work independently and meet weekly deadlines
Bonus Points If You Have
- Your own TikTok or YouTube channel with content samples
- Experience in Canva, CapCut, InShot, or iMovie
- A love for modest fashion and cultural storytelling
- Interest in entrepreneurship or digital marketing
