Social Media Assistant
Role Description
As a Social Media Assistant Intern for Pinterest & Facebook, you’ll play an important role in growing Alurella’s visual and community presence. Your work will help drive brand awareness, website traffic, and engagement with a target audience who value modest fashion, elegance, and cultural authenticity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pinterest Management
- Assist in designing and publishing branded Pins using Canva or templates provided.
- Organize and update Pinterest boards (style inspiration, modest outfits, seasonal trends, behind the scenes).
- Schedule weekly Pins using Tailwind or Pinterest’s native scheduler.
- Research trending keywords and hashtags for use in Pin descriptions.
- Repurpose blog posts, product features, and campaign visuals into Pin content.
2. Facebook Management
- Schedule and publish content on Alurella’s Facebook Page.
- Assist in creating short copy (captions) for product features, promotions, and announcements.
- Help organize photos and stories into albums (e.g., customer testimonials, product drops, community updates).
- Monitor and respond to comments or DMs in a brand-aligned, warm tone.
- Help brainstorm ways to grow our Facebook audience and build community (e.g., polls, giveaways, modest fashion Q&As).
3. Brand Storytelling & Visual Content
- Organize and tag visual assets (images and videos) for easy use across both platforms.
- Help adapt content from TikTok/YouTube/Instagram into platform-optimized formats.
- Participate in light photo editing or layout creation for Pinterest using Canva.
Who You Are
- Passionate about fashion, creativity, and visual storytelling
- Familiar with Pinterest and Facebook (or eager to learn!)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Comfortable with Canva or willing to learn
Bonus If You Have
- Experience creating mood boards or graphics in Canva
- A Pinterest board you’ve curated for fashion or aesthetic inspiration
- A strong interest in fashion, branding, or women’s empowerment
- Familiarity with modest fashion or diverse style communities
