Mastery Rising is an AI-powered career development platform designed to help users build personalized, step-by-step career roadmaps that integrate professional growth with mental well-being. We’re an early-stage startup focused on building meaningful, human-centered tools that empower people to navigate their careers with clarity and confidence.
We are seeking a Product Development Intern to support our team as we roll out new features and work toward SOC2 compliance. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to contribute to real product improvements in a fast-moving startup environment.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct QA testing to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and UX issues.
- Support our design and accessibility efforts by resizing SVGs and writing descriptive alt text for images.
- Contribute to ongoing feature development and compliance projects, with responsibilities tailored to your strengths and career interests.
- Attend a weekly 1-hour team meeting (time determined based on mutual availability).
- Communicate regularly and complete tasks on time — timely communication is highly valued, and advance notice is required for conflicts or missed meetings.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and reliability in meeting deadlines.
- Clear and timely communication.
- Interest in product development, UX/UI, accessibility, QA, or software development processes.
- Availability for 10 hours/week, including at least 1–2 synchronous hours between 10am–9pm EST (we operate on the East Coast).

- Proficiency with JavaScript, Typescript, and CSS is not necessarily required, but a huge plus
- Must be fluent (or extremely conversational) in English
